Swing into Spring Training 5K

Event Overview

We are excited to announce the 5th Annual Swing into Spring Training 5k sponsored by Hospital for Special Surgery will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Clover Park! Join us as we kick off the 2025 New York Mets baseball season with an 8 AM - 5K start. All runners will gather for a unique opportunity to finish the race at home plate, just like the players!

Race Amenities

• Custom finisher medal: All participants will receive a custom finisher medal.
• Swing into Spring Training t-shirt: Each participant will receive a t-shirt.
• Spring Training game ticket: (1) General Admission ticket to one Spring Training game:
  • 2/24 vs. Astros @ 1:10
  • 3/3 vs. Team Nicaragua @ 1:10
  • 3/4 vs. Team Israel @ 1:10
  • 3/9 vs. Marlins @ 6:10
• Swag bag: All participants will receive a swag bag.
• Race bib: Every participant will be provided a race bib.

Early Packet Pickup

Packet pick up will be available at the ticket office windows. Hours to pick up your race packet are as follows:

• Friday, February 20th: 12 PM - 4 PM

Race Day Parking

Parking for the race will be located in the grass parking area of Clover Park. You may enter from either University Blvd. or Peacock Blvd.

Race Day Schedule

• 7:00 AM: Race-day packet pickup & registration opens
• 7:50 AM: Race-day packet pickup & registration closes
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run begins
• 9:15 AM: Awards announcements begin on the concourse by the Jim Beam Bar inside the stadium

Awards ceremony immediately after the race. Post race festivities with music and refreshment on the concourse by the Jim Beam Bar inside the stadium.

Reminders

• Children 3 and under: Welcome to participate without a registration.
• Prohibited items: No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses.
• No pets: Please no pets allowed.
• Walkers: Walkers are welcome.

Top 3 Overall Male & Female, Top Male & Female Masters (40+), Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

• Through 1/12: Adult: $40, Child (12 & under) $35, Team $35
• 1/13 through 2/20: Adult: $45, Child (12 & under) $40, Team $40
• Race Day: Adult: $50, Child (12 & under) $45, Team $45
