Guinness Celtic 5K (Race 2 Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown)

ABOUT THE RACE

The Guinness Celtic 5k is a fun Irish race (as always, walkers are welcome!) in Worcester, MA, before the Annual St Patrick's Day Parade. Watch the parade after the race from the beer garden at the finish line.

• Registration: The Guinness Celtic 5K registration is available WITH or WITHOUT a Guinness Celtic 5K medal.
• Note: This medal is for the Guinness Celtic 5K only and is separate from the Worcester Triple Crown Finisher's Medal.

UPGRADE TO THE GREENDALE PHYSICAL THERAPY WORCESTER TRIPLE CROWN

Looking for an extra challenge? Join us for the Inaugural Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a 3-Race 5K series that celebrates some of the most fun holidays of the year, including the Worcester Jingle 5K on December 7, 2025, the Guinness Celtic 5K on March 15th, 2026, and concluding with the Worcester Cinco (5)K on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

• Participants: Participants in the full Triple Crown will score a commemorative pint glass at EACH of the three races.
• Finisher's Medal: A Finisher’s Medal at the finish line of the Worcester Cinco K.
• Note: This medal is SEPARATE from the Guinness Celtic 5K medal.
• Registration: To register for the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, simply select the 3-Race bundle on any of the race registration sites!

GUINNESS CELTIC 5K RACE INFO

• Date: Sunday, March 15, 2026.
• Start Times: Celtic 5k start time: 11:00 a.m. Kids Leprechaun Run start time: 10:30 a.m. (ages 12 and under on race day).
• Location: Elm Park, 284 Highland St, Worcester, MA 01602.
• Note: The race start and finish are located on Park Avenue near the intersection of Park Avenue and Highland Street.

ENTRY FEES

• Fees: $34 to 12/31/2025, $36 1/1/2025 to 1/31/2026, $38 2/1/2025 to 3/14/2026.
• Online Registration: Closes Saturday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. Sorry no refund and no pets allowed.
• Kids Leprechaun Run: $15 to 12/31/25, $16 1/1/2025 - 1/31/2026, $17 2/1/2025 - 3/14/2026.

PACKET PICKUP & ON-SITE REGISTRATION

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Friday March 13th - Noon to 5pm at Sneakerama, 12 Lake Ave, Worcester, MA.
• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Saturday, March 14th - 10am to 5pm at Sneakerama, 12 Lake Ave, Worcester, MA.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Sunday, March 15th, 2026 at Park Ave (next to Elm Park) from 9:00am – 11am.
• Walk Up Entry Fee: 5K: $45, Kids Run (12 and under): $20.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS

If you are participating in the race virtually, we encourage you to pick up your race shirt from us at a Pre-Race Packet Pickup if you are able to. If you cannot make it, we will mail your shirt to the address provided on RunSignUp AFTER race day.

• Submitting Results: To submit your virtual results, head to RunRhody.com and select "Result" from the top navigation menu.
• Virtual Participation: This counts toward any of our race series, including the Run Rhody Grand Slam.

Individual Awards

• Top 3 Overall: Awards for various age divisions including under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
• Team Awards: Prize will be awarded to the top overall team.
• Scoring: Top 3 scores based on chip time.
• Entry: No limit on Team size. Online entry for Teams only.
