Guinness Celtic 5K (Race 2 Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown)

ABOUT THE RACE

The Guinness Celtic 5k is a fun Irish race (as always, walkers are welcome!) in Worcester, MA, before the Annual St Patrick's Day Parade. Watch the parade after the race from the beer garden at the finish line.

• Registration options: The Guinness Celtic 5K registration is available WITH or WITHOUT a Guinness Celtic 5K medal.
• Distinct medals: This medal is for the Guinness Celtic 5K only and is separate from the Worcester Triple Crown Finisher's Medal.

UPGRADE TO THE GREENDALE PHYSICAL THERAPY WORCESTER TRIPLE CROWN

Looking for an extra challenge? Join us for the Inaugural Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a 3-Race 5K series that celebrates some of the most fun holidays of the year, including the Worcester Jingle 5K on December 6, 2026, the Guinness Celtic 5K on March 14th, 2027, and concluding with the Worcester Cinco (5)K on Sunday, May 2, 2027.

• Finisher’s Medal: Participants in the full Triple Crown will score a Finisher’s Medal at the finish line of the Worcester Cinco K.
• Separate Medals: This medal is SEPARATE from the Guinness Celtic 5K medal that is an optional add-on for the Guinness Celtic 5K registration.
• Registration: To register for the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, simply select the 3-Race bundle on any of the race registration sites!

GUINNESS CELTIC 5K RACE INFO

• Date: Sunday, March 14, 2027.
• Start time: Celtic 5k start time: 11:00 a.m. Kids Leprechaun Run start time: 10:30am (ages 12 and under on race day) Kids distance approximately 1/4 mile. Parents may run with their kids.
• Location: Elm Park, 284 Highland St, Worcester, MA 01602. Note: The race start and finish are located on Park Avenue near the intersection of Park Avenue and Highland Street.
• T-Shirts: T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk-up registrations on race day.

No pets allowed. Service animals are permitted.

ENTRY FEES

• Pricing: $34 to 12/31/2026, $36 1/1/2027 to 1/31/2027, $38 2/1/2027 to 3/14/2027.
• Online registration: Online registration closes Saturday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m. Sorry no refund and no pets allowed.
• Walk-up registration: Race day walk-up registration is $45.
• Kids Leprechaun Run: $15 to 12/31/26, $16 1/1/2027 - 1/31/2027, $17 2/1/2027 - 3/14/2027.

PACKET PICKUP &: ON-SITE REGISTRATION

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup #1: Friday March 12th from Noon to 5pm at Sneakerama, 12 Lake Ave, Worcester, MA.
• Pre-Race Packet Pickup #2: Saturday, March 13th from 10am to 5pm at Sneakerama, 12 Lake Ave, Worcester, MA.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Sunday, March 14th, 2027 at Park Ave (next to Elm Park) Worcester, MA from 9:00am – 11am.
• Walk-up Entry Fee: 5K: $45, Kids Run (12 and under): $20.

Please note, t-shirts are not guaranteed for walk-up registrations on race day.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS

• Shirt pickup: If you are participating in the race virtually, we encourage you to pick up your race shirt from us at a Pre-Race Packet Pickup if you are able to.
• Shirt mailing: If you cannot make it, we will mail your shirt to the address provided on RunSignUp AFTER race day.
• Submitting results: To submit your virtual results, head to RunRhody.com and select "Result" from the top navigation menu.
• Participation count: Virtual participation DOES count toward any of our race series, including the Run Rhody Grand Slam, the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, and the Tour de Patrick series.
