🏅 Race Categories
- Participants Cap: Half Marathon, 10 mile, and 12K courses are limited to 5000 participants.
- Open Categories: Half Marathon is open to Runners, Walkers, Handcycles, and Wheelchairs.
- Runners Only: 10 mile and 12K courses are open to Runners and Walkers only.
- 5K Start Time: The Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk starts at Silver Strand State Beach at 7:00 am.

- Military Discount: Special discounted pricing for all branches of the USA military (Active Duty, Reserves, & Veterans) with valid ID.
- First Responder Discount: Special discounted pricing for all First Responders (Police, Fire, FBI, EMTs, Border Patrol) with valid ID.
- Unique Features: Finishers receive medals for all distances: awards for various age divisions.
- Special Awards: Presentation for top finishers in various categories.
🍕 Race Features
- California Beach Party: Live music and food at the finish line.
- Beer Garden: Supporting Life Sports Foundation.
- Pace Teams: For the Half Marathon with various time groups including 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, etc.
- Post-Race Amenities: Continental Breakfast at the finish line Party.
📅 Event Timeline
- 6:00-7:00 AM: Gear check at Sunset Park, Coronado for Half/10 Miler only.
- 7:00 AM: Start of the 5K at Silver Strand State Beach and Half Marathon/10 Miler/12K.
- 9:00 AM: 5K Awards Presentation.
- 10:30 AM: Half Marathon Awards Presentation.
🗺️ Important Information
- Packet Pick-Up: At Road Runner Sports, 5553 Copley Drive, San Diego, CA 92111 on November 7th and 8th.
- Late Pick-Up Fee: $10 cash on race morning if not picked up prior.
- Parking: Visit the website for complete information on Parking and Shuttles.
- Change Options: Participants can change their distance or add options at Road Runner Sports or via Active.com.
💖 Beneficiary
- Life Sports Foundation: Funds raised will help change lives for physically challenged athletes and foster children.
- Post-Race Party: Enjoy live entertainment, food, and fluids post-race.
- Awards: Top three finishers in each division will receive awards: all participants get finisher medals.
