Discover a new side of UC San Diego! Join us for an urban orienteering adventure across one of California’s most dynamic campuses—where sun-soaked coastal bluffs meet cutting-edge research facilities, and hidden courtyards give way to modern architectural icons.

Location and History

• Established: 1960
• Size: Over 2,178 acres
• Setting: Beautiful La Jolla by the Pacific
• Landmarks: Geisel Library, eucalyptus groves, "Snake Path" sculpture

Event Format

• Format Type: Traditional
• Map Scale: 1:10000 | 5m contours
• Course Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced
• Start Times: 10am to 11am

Logistics

• Time Limit: Two hours, check-in by 1pm
• Scoring: Electronic punching required
• E-Punch Rentals: Available for $5
• Clinics: Introductory clinic at 9:45 am

Registration Details

• Pre-registration: Required for all participants
• Registration Fees: $20 for adults, $10 for juniors
• Early Bird Discount: $5 until Nov 1st
• Closing Registration: 10 am on Nov 14th or upon reaching limit
