About this race
Race Overview
A family-friendly 10K, 5K and Fun Run on one of North Carolina's most beautiful islands -- Harkers Island. The Core Sound Run begins and ends "at the end of the road" - at the edge of Core Sound.
T-Shirts
- High-quality: Long sleeve t-shirts provided to each 5k and 10k participant.
- Registration Deadline: Register by end of day March 19th for guaranteed t-shirt size.
Prizes
- Overall Grand Prize: Per age group is a collectible decoy.
- Placement Prizes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes per age group.
- Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, 75+

Early packet pickup will be available on Thursday, April 2nd & Friday, April 3rd 10am-5pm at the Core Sound Museum Store at 806 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC.
