Join us on Saturday, April 11th, 2026 for the OWLS Fort Macon 5K Trail Run!

🌳 Course Details

• Style: Cross country style surfaces with moderate elevation.
• Environment: Trail is both wooded and full sun.
• Features: Footbridge crossings and scenic views.
• Views: Beaufort Inlet, Bogue Sound, and the Atlantic Ocean throughout the course.

🌿 About OWLS

• Mission: OWLS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) wildlife shelter caring for injured, sick, and orphaned native North Carolina wildlife.
• Education: Provides valuable educational outreach to connect people to nature and wildlife.
• Rehabilitation: Rescues small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians in need of human care.
• Release: Efforts are made to return rehabilitated animals to their natural habitat.

💲 Registration Fees

• Cost: $35, which includes an OWLS short sleeve tee shirt.
• Deadline: Register by March 31st to guarantee your race shirt.
• Pre-Sign In: T-shirt pick up on Friday the 10th, 5:00 to 7:00 at OWLS, 100 Wildlife Way Newport.
