- Dates: Saturday, May 2, 2025 and Sunday, May 3, 2025
- Place: Cady Way Park, 2529 Cady Way, Winter Park, FL 32792
- What: Sunshine Double-- 50K, Marathon, Half marathon, 10K, and 5K each day. Small, friendly events on a flat, paved, partly shaded bike/running path.
- Start Times: Marathon, Half Marathon, and 50K -- 6:00 am: 5K and 10K -- 7:00
Parking Information
- Location: Cady Way Park. (Look for the Cady Way Pool.)

- Ample Parking: There is ample parking near race start finish, and right on the course.
- Overflow Options: An overflow parking lot is nearby and there is a school across the street.
Important Race Notes
- Timing: Races are not chip timed. We are old-fashioned hand timed.
- Certification: Courses are not certified. No Boston qualifier.
- Awards: No age group awards, no t-shirts, no useless bling.
- Hydration: Cupless—bring your own bottle.
Event Characteristics
- Casual Atmosphere: These events are no frills, low-key, casual, but FUN events. Great for first timers.
- Entry Fees: Low entry fees, which is why you don't get other perks.
- Finisher’s Medal: A simple-but-nice finisher’s medal will be provided.
- Course Type: The courses are lap courses—short loops that you’ll do multiple times.
Course Details
- Course Structure: The paved, urban run/bike trail is flat and largely shaded.
- Marathon & 50K Laps: The lap for the marathon, half marathon, and 50K is approximately 2.2 miles.
- 5K & 10K Laps: The lap for the 5K and 10K is approximately 1.55 miles.
- Turn-arounds: Clearly marked, and rubber bands will be provided to track laps.
Support Services
- Aid Station: The only aid station is at the start/finish location with refreshments.
- Bathrooms: Bathrooms are inside, permanent structures with soap and water, accessible during each lap.
- Heat Considerations: Ice for hydration and snacks will be provided for the hot weather.
- Drop Bag: You may leave a drop bag at the start/finish in a small pavilion.
Race Completion
- Finish Line: Ring the bell or inform the timer when you finish to ensure your time is recorded.
- Expectations: You’ll meet experienced runners who enjoy encouraging others.
- Volunteers: Volunteers are always needed and earn free runs as compensation.
