• What: Sunshine Double-- 50K, Marathon, Half marathon, 10K, and 5K each day
• Start Times: Marathon and 50K -- 6:00 am: Half Marathon -- 6:10: 5K and 10K -- 7:00

• Options: Overflow parking lot nearby and a school across the street.
• Convenience: All locations are convenient.

⚠️ Important Information

• Timing: Not chip timed.
• Certification: Courses not certified. Not a Boston qualifier.
• Awards: No age group awards, no t-shirts, no bling.
• Hydration: Cupless—bring your own bottle.

📋 Expectations

• Type: No frills, low-key, casual, and fun events.
• First Timers: Great for first timers, maybe not so great for a PR.
• What You Don’t Get: T-shirt, hat, socks, great bling, age group awards.
• What You Do Get: Low entry fees, simple finisher’s medal, and a published finish time.

🏁 Course Information

• Course Type: Lap courses, short loops multiple times.
• Terrain: Paved, urban run/bike trail that is flat and largely shaded.
• Specifics: Marathon/half marathon/50K lap is approximately 2.2 miles.
• 5K/10K lap: Approximately 1.55 miles.

🧊 Aid Station

• Location: The only aid station is at the start/finish location.
• Supplies: Chilled water, Gatorade, soda, and snacks provided.
• Hydration: Bring your own hydration device—water bottle, hydration belt/pack.

🌡️ Temperature Considerations

• Climate: Florida is typically hot and humid.
• Ice: Ice will be available for cooling.
• Snacks: Pickles, olives, and pickle juice will be provided.

🚻 Facilities

• Bathrooms: A little walk from the start/finish, but you’ll pass them during each lap.

💡 Lighting

• Daylight: Just starting to break daylight at the start (Sunrise at 6:44).
• Recommendation: It's advisable to have a light for the first half hour.

🎒 Drop Bag

• Location: Start/finish in a small pavilion for drop bags.

🔔 Finish Line Instructions

• Notification: Ring the bell or inform the timer to record your finish time.
• Timing: Remember, we are hand-timed—no timing chips!

💪 Volunteers

• Needed: Volunteers always welcome.
• Compensation: Each volunteer day earns a free long or short run entry.
