Hearts and Souls 5K

Race Overview

Make Plans to TODAY to participate in the 2nd Annual running of the “Hearts and Souls 5K”!

• Date: Saturday, February 21st, 2026
• Location: Calhoun GA City Recreation Park
• Start Time: 9:00 AM 5K Start!
• Purpose: Join the Members from the South Calhoun Baptist Church as they pour their Hearts and Souls into local missions and work to spread the love of Christ throughout Calhoun, Gordon County, and our surrounding area. Proceeds from the Heart & Soles 5K and Fun Run will provide materials for minor home repairs for the elderly, literature for our jail ministry, and other local missions.

Registration Details

• Pre-Registration: $30 5K Pre-Race Registration
• Kids Fun Run Pre-Race Registration: $20
• Race-Day Registration: $40 5K Registration
• Kids Fun Run Race-Day Registration: $25

Race Start-Finish & Parking

• Location: Both the Start & Finish Lines are located in Calhoun City Recreation Department (Park), 10 McDaniel Station Rd., Calhoun GA, 30701.
• Race Day Parking: There is plenty of race day parking in the park adjacent to the ball fields and the start/finish line.

Race Day Schedule of Events

• 7:45 AM: Race Day Registration Opens
• 8:45 AM: Race Day Registration Closes
• 9:00 AM: 5K Start Time
• 9:45 AM: Kids Fun Run Start
• 10:15 AM: Awards Presentation

Pre-Registration Packet Pick-Up

Pre-Registration Packet Pick up will be held Friday, February 20th from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the South Calhoun Baptist Church located at 500 Pine St., Calhoun, GA 30701.

Awards

Awards will be given to the following:

• Top 3 Overall: Male and Female Winners
• Top Masters: Male and Female Winners
• Top 3: Male & Female in the following Age Categories: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
