Please plan to join us for the 5th Annual running of the “Connor Luke Hayes Memorial 5K” Hosted by the “CLStrong Foundation.”

Date & Time: Saturday morning – April 18th, 2026 – 8:00 AM

Location: Calhoun City Recreation Department (Park) – 10 McDaniel Station Rd, Calhoun, GA 30701.

🎗️ Race Purpose

Race proceeds go to benefit the CLStrong Foundation whose mission is to honor our beloved Connor Luke Hayes. The Foundation hopes to be an example of “loving big” just like Connor Luke did!

• Objective: To raise money for the foundation while also bringing awareness to childhood cancer, particularly High-Risk Neuroblastoma.
• Community Impact: Funds raised will go toward scholarships for local students and help families dealing with childhood illnesses.
• Local Projects: Support for local community service projects.
• Gratitude: Thank you for the support and God bless!

🌟 About Connor Luke Hayes

Connor Luke was an intelligent, fun-loving, care-free spirit who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind. Despite his diagnosis of High-Risk Neuroblastoma and end stage renal failure, he loved big and always wanted to give to others.

• Interests: Loved his family, Notre Dame football, the Sonoraville Phoenix, John Deere Gator rides, swimming, swinging and baseball.
• Inspiration: He was a light and inspiration to all who crossed his path.
• Legacy: CLStrong Forever!

📝 Registration

• Pre-Race Registration Fee: $30 (Runs until 11:00 PM, Sunday evening, April 12, 2026.)
• Race Day Registration Fee: $40

🚦 5K Start-Finish & Race Day Parking

• Location: Both the Start & Finish Lines are located in Calhoun City Recreation Department (Park), 10 McDaniel Station Rd., Calhoun GA, 30701.
• Parking: There is plenty of race day parking in the park adjacent to the ball fields and the start/finish line.

📅 Race Day Schedule of Events

• 6:45 AM: Race Day Registration Opens
• 7:45 AM: Race Day Registration Closes
• 8:00 AM: 5K Start Time
• 9:15 AM: Awards Presentation

🎫 Pre-Registration Packet Pick Up

Pre-Registration Packet Pick up will be held Friday, April 17th, from 12:00 - 4:30 PM at Heritage Baptist Church in Calhoun, located at 345 Curtis Parkway, Calhoun, GA. Please make every effort to get by for Pre-registration packet pick up to lessen the lines on race day morning!

• Top 3 Overall: Male and Female Winners
• Top Masters: Male and Female Winners
• Age Categories: Top 3 Male & Female in the following: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over
