Get ready to gobble up the fun at the Rome Turkey Trot 5K race and 3K walk this Thanksgiving Day--Nov. 27th 2025--proudly sponsored by AdventHealth Rome! This delightful event is not just about running and walking: it’s a celebration of community spirit and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and outdoor activity and proceeds will benefit Northwest Georgia Hunger Ministries Inc.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual stroller, we invite you to strut your stuff and show off your Thanksgiving spirit! Registration Info:

• Youth Sizes: Available for both the 5K & 3K stroll.
• Pre-Race Registration: Open until 11:00pm, Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025.
• Early Bird Fees: Ages 18 & UNDER is $25 until Oct. 20th: Adults is $30 until Oct. 20th.
• Race Day Rates: $40 for the 5K & 3K. T-Shirt size not guaranteed.

Race Timing:

In partnership with Wire2wire Running, 5K runners will be timed via a disposable timing chip on their race bib provided in race packets.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup:

For those who have pre-registered, we highly encourage you to pick up your race packet &: t-shirt either Tuesday, November 25th from 12:00 Noon – 7:00 PM OR Wednesday, November 26th from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the GoGo Running/The Shoe Box store located at 1018 Martha Berry Blvd NE, Rome, GA 30165). Saves time &: stress on race morning! 5K &: 3K participants receive a shirt based on size indicated in their online registration.

Race Course Support:

• Restrooms: Available in the area before/after race
• Water Stations: Water will be provided at water stations on course
• Lead Bike: A lead biker will guide front of race runners in 5K
• Medical: EMT’s will be available for basic first aid at finish area

5K Awards:

Overall awards in the 5K will be presented to the following:

• Top 3 Overall M&F
• Top Master M&F
• Top 3 in each of the following Age Categories M&F:
• 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

Parking on Race Day:

There is plenty of FREE parking available at the AdventHealth Stadium parking lots.

Dogs & Strollers:

For the safety of the 5K runners, dogs and strollers are not permitted with runners on the 5K route. Dogs on leashes are fine for the 3K Feel Whole Stroll.

Cancellation / Weather / Refunds:

This event will be held rain or shine, warm or cold weather unless event organizers determine in conjunction with local authorities that conditions necessitate cancellation. If cancellation is necessary, no credits or refunds will be provided and registered participants for the 5K/3K distances will be transferred to the rescheduled date.
