Race Details
Starting at Nathan Dean Park in Rockmart, this scenic 5K goes down the scenic Silver Comet Trail with slight inclines along the river, and ends back at the park where there will be inflatables, food trucks, games, and music provided by J103.
While our runners are competing, we will also have a 1-mile Fun Run/Wheelchair Roll for anyone else wanting to get in on the fun, but not the distance. We look forward to a good time while raising money for Spinal Cord Injury Survivors, helping them to LIVE, not just survive and turn their I CAN’T into I CAN!

Course Information
5K Race Course:
This 5K is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes in Nathan Dean Park. Utilizing the beautiful Silver Comet Trail, with slight inclines along the river, this course is sure to provide a scenic experience.
1 Mile Race Course:
The 1 Mile is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes in Nathan Dean Park. Utilizing the beautiful Silver Comet Trail, with slight inclines along the river, this course is sure to provide a scenic experience.
Tot Trot Race Course:
This adorable run is for kiddos ages 6 & under and will allow the kiddos to run about 50 yards and experience crossing the finish line like the grown-ups! Parent/Guardians may accompany their child.

NOTE: The '1 Mile' and the 'Tot Trot' are mostly just for fun...BUT hey...your reward is to be a part of something special!

Parking
There is plenty of FREE parking available at Nathan Dean Park (Sports Complex 100 Industrial Dr., Rockmart, GA 30153)
Dogs & Strollers
For the safety of the 5K runners, dogs are not permitted with runners on the 5K route. Dogs on leashes are fine for the 1 Mi Run/Walk.
Cancellation / Weather / Refunds
This event will be held rain or shine, warm or cold weather unless event organizers determine in conjunction with local authorities that conditions necessitate cancellation. If cancellation is necessary, no credits or refunds will be provided and registered participants for the 5K/1M distances will be transferred to the rescheduled date.
