• Time: 5:00 PM
• Location: Rome, GA
• Start Location: Ridge Ferry Park

Course Details

• Start and Finish Location: Ridge Ferry Park on the gravel trail in front of the Coca-Cola stage.
• Run: The 5K is set to start at approximately 5:00 PM.
• Health Walk: The walk is set to start at approximately 5:30 PM.
• Course Certification: The 5K course is a USATF-certified course (#GA21022WC).

Event Details & Schedule

• 3:45 PM: Race Day Registration begins
• 4:45 PM: Race Day Registration ends (also, Costume Contest report to judges)
• 5:00 PM: 5K Start
• 6:00 PM: Survivor Recognition

Costume Contest & Registration

• Costume Contest: Encouraged for all participants: judging begins around 4:30 PM.
• Early Bird Registration: $31 for 5K, $26 for walk, closes August 30.
• Regular Registration: Beginning August 31, 5K is $41, walk is $36.
• Day-of-Race Fees: $46 for both 5K and walk.

Packet Pick-Up

• Group Packet Pick-Up: September 24th at Parks and Recreation's Main Office (11 AM - 4 PM).
• Individual Packet Pick-Up: September 25th at Academy Sports and Outdoors (11 AM - 6 PM).
• Race-Day Packet Pickup: Starting at 3:30 PM.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by September 16 for guaranteed t-shirt size.

Walk and Run Details

• Walk: 1.7 miles on gravel and paved surfaces. Dogs allowed on a leash.
• 5K Run: Certified 3.1 mi course: flat and fast with one hill.
• Post Race: Fruit, Powerade, and water available post-race.
• Awards: Given to age group winners and overall finishers.

Timing and Weather

• Professional Timing: Timed by Wire2Wire Running, LLC.
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine event: rescheduling communicated via media channels.
