📅 Event Schedule

• Bib & Shirt Pickup: Friday 9/12 from 3-6 PM at the race venue.
• Race Day: Saturday 9/13
• 5:15 AM: Registration & Bib Pickup Opens
• 7:00 AM: Half Marathon Starts

🏖️ The Course

Run along the beautiful beaches of Milford featuring the Silver Sands State Park Boardwalk. This is a PR Course like no other. This race has sold out before.

• Scenic Route: The flattest and most beautiful Half Marathon in CT.
• Course Safety: Gulf Street is closed for the start but other roads are open to traffic with police or volunteers at most intersections.
• USATF Certification: Course #CT19028JHP
• Aid Stations: Miles 2.75, 4.75, 6.75, 8.75 & 10.75 with Poland Spring Water & Gatorade Endurance.

• T-Shirts: Men's and Women's cut Short Sleeve Tech T-Shirts for all entrants.
• Finisher Medals: Custom medals for all Finishers.

⏱️ Timing and Results

• Timing: Transponder Timing for gun time and net time.
• Results: Live streaming results texted and emailed after finishing.

🚦 Cutoffs and Early Starts

• Time Cutoff: Half Marathon cutoff is 3:30.
• Early Start: Runners needing 2:45 to 3:30 must start at 6:30 AM.
• Note: Early starters will be DQed if they finish faster than 2:30.

Since its inauguration in 2011, this race has undergone significant developments including:

• 2019: Half Marathon course was USATF certified.
• 2020: Cancellations due to Covid-19.
• 2025: Race returns as the RRCA State Championship.

• 11/16/2024 - 12/31/2024: $70
• 1/1/2025 - 4/30/2025: $75
• 5/1/2025 - 9/10/2025: $80
• 9/13/2025 Race Day: $85 (cash, checks, Venmo only)

🔄 Transfer & Deferral Info

• Transfer: You may transfer your registration until 8/13/2025 for $25.
• Deferral: You may defer to the 2026 race until 8/13/2025 for $25.
• Note: No refunds or exceptions.
