🏞️ 2025 Springmaid Splash 5K and 10K

Join us for a one-of-a-kind trail race adventure on Springmaid Mountain's scenic 400-acre property. Our 5K and 10K races meander through lush trails and take you splashing across the North Toe River, giving you a true mountain run experience! After crossing the finish line, stay a while and make it an unforgettable getaway with optional overnight stays at our cozy cabins or campsites. Whether you’re a runner or a camper this event has something for everyone!

⛺ Accommodations

Field camping check-in begins after 3pm on Friday, Sept. 5. Field campers check-out is before 11am Sunday.

• Bunkhouse: Individual accommodations available in the Bunkhouse, featuring rooms with bunk beds.
• Cost: Reservations are $35 per bed. Call Springmaid Mountain at 828-765-2353 to reserve.

🗓️ Event Schedule

Friday, September 5

• 3pm-8pm: Field camping open and early packet pick-up. Note: Field camping is for tents, small vans, and tear drop trailers. Anything larger must rent a campsite.

Saturday, September 6

• 7a: Parking opens
• 7-8:30a: Day of packet pick-up
• 8:30a: All runners must be on site
• 8:45a: 10k start
• 9a: 5k start
• 10a-12p: Food available
• 10:30a: Award ceremony
• 12p onwards: Enjoy the Springmaid Mountain Property!

Sunday, September 7

• Check-out: All field camping must be out by 11a.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female for both 5K and 10K.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female Age Groups for both 5K and 10K.
• Categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 and over.

🔄 Refunds & Weather Policy

Race registration is non-refundable. More than two weeks out you may transfer your race registration to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value. All transfers are at the discretion of the Race Director.

Our events run rain or shine unless there is severe weather. While we never want to cancel a race, in situations such as tornado warnings, thunderstorms, heavy and persistent rain, we will need to cancel. Should we cancel, you will be notified via social media, our website, and email. Should we cancel, there will be no refunds as that money has already been put toward the race.
