Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ The Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk Has a New Location!!!

The same great race benefitting the same great cause will again start and finish at Hofbrauhaus in Newport, Kentucky. This new venue will give us space for pre-registration as well as an awesome after party, including one free beer/soda per participant (21+ and must show ID at event for a beer ticket).

• Event Highlights: Participants can enjoy music, food, and much more!
• Awards: Top male and female finishers will receive Hofbrauhaus gift cards.
• Prizes: The top 40 male and top 40 female finishers will receive a prize from Queen City Running.

As we host our annual Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in memory of Dennis Stemler and everyone living with seizures. Your participation in this event helps the Epilepsy Alliance Ohio provide valuable services to our community including:

• Counseling: Support groups for individuals affected by epilepsy.
• Education: Community education on epilepsy awareness.
• Programs: Camp Flame Catcher for youth with epilepsy and an Adult Day Program.

Please Note: Due to the rising cost of shirts, we are adding an additional $5 to registration fees for shirts. Selecting a shirt size will add $5 to your registration fees. If you do not want a shirt, select none for shirt size. Purple shirt options are available for those with epilepsy!

• Registration Deadline: Registrations completed after 2/28/2026, shirt selections will be limited!

• Create a Team: Challenge friends and family to join and help raise funds.
• Donate: Contribute to your favorite team or directly to the EAO.
• Impact: No donation is too small!

👥 Referrals

The Epilepsy Alliance Ohio has a new program where you can earn money back on your registration simply by referring others to the event. Here's how it works:

• Step 1: Register yourself.
• Step 2: Share your unique referral link with others.
• Step 3: Earn credits as people register through your link.
• Step 4: Earn $5 back after 5 referral credits.

Very Important: In order to receive a referral credit, the people you refer MUST use your unique referral link to register. We are unable to make any manual adjustments.

💵 Fees

• Individual (13 and over): Pre-registration $35: Same Day Registration $40 (event shirt $5 additional).
• Individual (12 and under): Pre-registration $20: Same Day Registration $25 (event shirt $5 additional).
• Team Registration: Pre-registration $30: Same Day Registration $40 (event shirt $5 additional).
• Children 2 and under: Free, but no shirt, bib, or award.

Same day registration is from 8am to 8:50am with the race starting at 9am. All pre-registration event shirts must be picked up by 9am on race day or they will be forfeited.
