The Great Waterville Marathon & Half

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Sunday August 9, 2026, starting at 7 am The Great Waterville Marathon & Half will start its inaugural run at the Thomas College entrance sign on West River Rd.

🗺️ Course Details

• Starting Point: Thomas College entrance sign on West River Rd.
• Route: Runners will continue south on West River Rd.
• Turn Directions: Right turn onto Drummond Rd, then a right onto Middle Rd, right onto Webb Rd, and left onto Mitchell Rd to a dead-end turnaround TA.
• Loop Return: After the turnaround, runners will return following Webb Rd, left onto West River Rd, and right onto Vining Dr.

🏅 Finish Line

Half marathoners will end at the Sukeforth Family Sports Center (the flag pole will be the finish line) on the Thomas College Campus.

🏁 Full Marathon Path

• Continuation: Full Marathoners will take a left at the flag poles to continue around the Thomas College campus.
• Second Loop: They will take a left back onto West River Rd. to continue their second loop.
• Signage: There will be signage to direct Full Marathoners around the campus.
• Map Release: Once the map is finalized, we will post it on our website www.lifestylesportsglobal.com.

📜 Certification

This course will be USATF sanctioned and certified.
