Join us on Saturday, March 8, 2025, for an unforgettable 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run and Family Fun Day event at Al Lopez Park, located at 4810 N. Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614. Check in begins 8am!
🏃♂️ ABOUT THE 5K
This 5K takes you through a loop around the beautiful Al Lopez Park on a fully paved walking trail. This is a timed event, and all participants will receive bibs in their race packets. Whether you’re sprinting to set a new personal best or enjoying a leisurely stroll, this 5K is all about getting the workout you want.
- Registration: On-Site Registration begins 8:00am
- Start Time: 5k starts 9:00am
- Awards: 5k award ceremony at 9:40am
- Medals: Medals awarded to top finishers
🥳 ABOUT THE 1-MILE FUN RUN
Get ready for pure fun where RIDICULOUS COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED! Run, walk, or stroll at your own pace—bring your friends, family, or even your dogs. The goal is simple: have a blast while supporting a great cause!
- Registration: On-Site Registration begins 8:00am
- Start Time: 1 Mile Fun Run starts 9:45am
- Awards: 1 Mile Fun Run award ceremony at 10:15am
- Costumes: Ridiculous costumes are encouraged
🌈 ADDITIONAL RAINBOW RUN PERKS
- First Registrants: First 50 people to sign up receive commemorative items
- Packet Pickup: Two convenient locations available the week of the event
- Food Trucks: Available throughout the events

Family, laughter, and good times – that’s what a perfect Family Fun Day is all about! Come join the fun during Tampa Pride’s Rainbow Run for an action-packed day of activities. Get moving with outdoor yoga, show off your skills in games, or take part in our dance and hula hoop contests. Plus, there’ll be food trucks ready to serve up delicious bites to keep you going. Don’t miss out!

The Family Fun Day has something for everyone. From toddlers to grandparents, the event is catered to all age groups. Highlights include:
- Yoga: Bring your own mat, Starts 11:00am
- Interactive Games: Fun for everyone
- Craft Stations: Creativity for all ages
- Live Entertainment: Dance party hosted by the fabulous DJ Elliott
