Event Overview
- Purpose: Wolftrap Elementary's 5K is more than a race - and there is something for everyone, even if you don't want to run!
- Community Celebration: This is the Wolftrap Parent Teacher Association's (PTA) largest fundraiser of the year.
- Date: Join us on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
- Location: Start and finish at 1903 Beulah Rd, Vienna, VA 22182.
Activities
- Races: Annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run starting at 8:00 am.
- Features: Enjoy music, race awards, a cake walk, raffles, after-race treats, and more.
- Community Impact: Helps the Wolftrap PTA raise critical funds to enhance students' educational experience.
- Weather: The event will take place rain or shine.
Registration Fees
- Online Deadline: Registration will close on Sunday, April 19, at 8:00 am.
- 5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over): $40 through March 15, $45 March 16 through Race Day.
- 5k Run/Walk Child (12 & under): $30 through March 15, $35 March 16 through Race Day.
- 1 Mile Fun Run (untimed): $20 through March 15, $25 March 16 through Race Day.
Shirts and Pajama Pants
- Shirt Guarantee: All registrations completed by March 31st are guaranteed a race shirt.
- Purchase Deadline: The deadline for purchasing Wolftrap Pajama Pants is March 30.
Race Day Information
- Start Times: 1-mile fun run/walk at 8:00 am, 5K at 8:30 am (1 hour to complete).
- Strollers: Strollers are welcome in both races: please start in the back if you are slower.
- Packet Pickup: Available on Friday, April 17, from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the school.
- Registration: Available on race day from 7:15 am to 8:15 am at Wolftrap Elementary School.
Awards & Prizes
- Trophies and Medals: Awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, including teachers and students.
- Additional Awards: Medals for the top male and female finisher in each age category: 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over.
