💖 Mission of Teal Diva

• Focus: Teal Diva focuses on the mental and emotional health of those affected by a gynecologic cancer.
• Community Connection: Our goal is to meet our community where they are by connecting with newly diagnosed women, survivors, and their support network.
• Programs: Our programs include, but are not limited to active treatment support, celebrating survivorship, and honoring legacies.
• Empowerment: We strive to touch every woman diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer through shared stories fostering strength, hope, and resilience.

🩺 Understanding Gynecologic Cancers

• Symptoms: Symptoms of ovarian cancer often mimic what women face on a monthly basis, making it hard to detect, and it is often referred to as the "Silent Killer."
• Screening Challenges: The most upsetting fact is that there is no screening test for ovarian cancer, unlike tests available for cervical and breast cancer.
• Awareness: Until there is a screening test, it is crucial for all to know the symptoms and ask questions regarding their health.
• Treatment Potential: If caught in the early stages, ovarian cancer is 90% more treatable in most cases.
