💖 Mission of Teal Diva

• Focus: Teal Diva focuses on the mental and emotional health of those affected by gynecologic cancers.
• Community Connection: Our goal is to meet our community where they are by connecting with newly diagnosed women, survivors, and their support network.
• Programs: Our programs include, but are not limited to active treatment support, celebrating survivorship, and honoring legacies.
• Shared Stories: Our shared stories foster strength, hope, and resilience.

🔍 Understanding Gynecologic Cancers

• Symptoms: Symptoms of ovarian cancer often mimic what women face on a monthly basis, making it hard to detect and has given it the nickname, Silent Killer.
• Screening Tests: The most unbelievable and upsetting thing about ovarian cancer is that there is not a screening test.
• Awareness: It is up to all of us to know the symptoms and ask questions until a screening test is established.
• Treatment: If caught in early stages, ovarian cancer is 90% more treatable in most cases.
