Sea Splash Color Dash 5K

Race Overview

The City of Port Hueneme and the Port of Hueneme are co-hosting the “Sea Slash Color Dash 5K and Kids 1K” event, which is set to occur on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Hueneme Beach.

• Location: Hueneme Beach, Port Hueneme, CA
• Date: March 21, 2026
• 5K Registration Fee: $25 per runner
• Kids 1K Registration Fee: $10 per child

Schedule

• 5K Start Time: 9:00 am
• Kids 1K Start Time: 10:30 am
• Awards Ceremony: For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in different age categories.
• Event Hours: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Kids 1K Information

• Registration Deadline: Closes on March 1st or upon reaching maximum capacity.
• Age Requirement: Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
• Waiver: Parents or guardians must sign a waiver onsite if running with a child.
• Registered Child Benefits: Bib, participation medal, and t-shirt provided.

Color Run Theme

Both races will feature a "color run" theme, with a final fishline tunnel segment along the competition route. Participation in the color run spray is optional, and an alternative path is available for those who prefer not to participate.

Health Wellness Fair

The FREE Health Wellness Fair following the race will be located in Parking Lot “C”. It will feature:

• Educational Booths: Health career booths.
• Children’s Activity Area: Engaging activities for kids.
• Food Vendors: Healthy food options available for purchase.
• Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances throughout the event.

Additional Information

• Weather: This is a rain or shine event!
• Restrooms: Bathroom trailers on site, including an ADA-accessible restroom.
• Food: Healthy food trucks will be available, this is a non-alcoholic event.
• Runner Packet Pick-Up: March 14th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and March 20th, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
