Kiwimbi 10K, 5K Runs & 45-Minute Walk!

Event Purpose

• Mission: Creating opportunity through education.
• Date: Sunday May 17, 2026
• Location: Duke Island Park, 191 Old York Rd, Bridgewater, NJ
• Registration: 8:00 am

Race Schedule

• 10K Race: 9:00 am
• 5K Race: 9:00 am
• Walkers: Immediately after the races begin.
• Why Walk 45 Minutes? That’s the average amount of time a child in rural Kenya walks one way to school each day!

Awards and Prizes

• Prizes: To Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers
• Awards: To Top M/F 1st Place Finishers in the following Age Groups:
• Age Groups: 15 & Under · 16-19 · 20s · 30s · 40s · 50s · 60s · 70s · 80s · 90+
• Proceeds: All proceeds to benefit Kiwimbi International.

What to Expect

• Food: Tons of food featuring Kenyan treats.
• Water: Plenty of water available.
• Music: Kenyan Pop Music playing all morning long to energize the participants.
• Water Stations: Along the course for runners to recharge.
• Official Events: 10K and 5K USATF sanctioned and timed races - part of the Grand Prix.
• Walking Event: 45 Minute (5K) Fun Walk.

Medal Ceremony

The medal ceremony will take place as soon as results are tabulated.
