👟 Race Overview

• Date: Saturday, November 15th
• Memory: This race is held in memory of Chief Guy Osborne, former Pawleys Island Police Chief who passed away in 2015.
• Start Point: Participants will start at the Pawleys Island Nature Park and head south on Myrtle Avenue along the Pawleys Island Creek.
• Route: 5K participants will turn around in the Bird’s Nest area, while 8K runners continue to enjoy a stunning ocean view.

🏝️ About Pawleys Island

Pawleys Island is a barrier island less than 4 miles long and mostly 1 house wide, separated from the mainland by a beautiful salt marsh and accessible by two short causeways. It is located 70 miles north of Charleston and 25 miles south of Myrtle Beach and is known as one of the oldest summer resorts on the East Coast. Our race dates are chosen based on the tide charts for the season.

🚗 Race Location and Parking

• Location: Pawleys Island Town Hall-323 Myrtle Avenue, Pawleys Island, SC
• Parking: Please park in designated areas only
• Road Safety: Make sure your car is off the road completely

📦 Packet Pickup

• Friday: November 14 from 3:00-4:30pm at Old Town Hall building (321 Myrtle Ave., Pawleys Island, SC 29585)
• Saturday: November 15 from 6:30-7:45am at Old Town Hall building (321 Myrtle Ave, Pawleys Island, SC 29585)

🎁 Race Swag

• Shirt: Race Participant Shirt (while supplies last)
• Bib: Race bib
• Medal: Made in the USA Custom Designed Finisher Medal

ℹ️ Race Info

• Portos: Located near the start line
• 5K Course: No water stop on the 5K course
• 8K Course: Water stop at turnaround of 8K course
• Registration: Online registration closes Saturday, November 15 at 6:15am
• Virtual Participants: will receive race swag within 2 weeks post race. Registration cost includes shipping

• Overall: Male and Female 1,2,3 place
• Masters: Overall Masters Male and Female-1 place
• Age Groups: Male and Female 1 place-10 year increments (1-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up)

• Medal: Participant Medal

• Awards: Overall Awards
• Schedule: 5K Overall/Age Group Awards will begin approximately 9:00am: 8K Overall/Age Group Awards will begin approximately 9:20am
