Inaugural Dreamers of Achievement 5K Run/Walk

🏁 Event Overview

The South Fulton (GA) Alumni Chapter (SFAC) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., was newly chartered on November 3, 2024, in the City of South Fulton, GA. This organization comprises a dynamic group of college-educated individuals worldwide. The establishment of this chapter marks a significant milestone for the fraternity’s mission of achievement and service.

SFAC is pleased to host its Inaugural Dreamers of Achievement 5K Run/Walk. This pivotal fundraiser will support scholarships, mentorships, and community engagement initiatives. It will also connect health-conscious individuals, thus introducing our chapter's commitment to health and wellness.

The Inaugural Dreamers of Achievement 5K Run/Walk will be June 22, 2025, starting at 8 AM, with the race beginning at Jess Lucas Park and ending slightly before Jess Lucas Park.

Your support will help ensure the beginning of valuable initiatives and opportunities for the South Fulton community and neighbors.

• Qualification: Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifier
• Awards: Overall Male & Female, Masters Male & Female, AG Awards
• Registration Perks: T-shirt included with Registration (T-shirt cannot be guaranteed for registrations after June 16, 2025).
• Finisher Medals: Guaranteed for the first 300 participants who register. (MEDALS ARE STILL AVAILABLE...34 medals as of 6/13/25!) We will provide notification once the limit is reached.
• Special Offerings: Free Photography, Course Monitors
• Newly Added: The Movement Experience will be onsite, giving FREE recovery sessions @:themovement_experience on IG.

⏰ Time Limit

5K - 1 hour and 20 minutes. Any participant still on the course after the time limit is reached will be asked to vacate the course.

⌚ Timing Details

The timing device for this event is RFID timing by Elite Race Timing. To receive an accurate time, please confirm that your bib is:

• Visible: Clearly visible on the front of the torso
• Unaltered: Unaltered and unmodified (not folded or wrinkled)
• Pinned: Pinned in all four corners
• Uncovered: Uncovered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)
• Results: Results are published live within a few minutes of finishing.

🏃‍♂️ Virtual Option

Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) on your favorite course or treadmill the week of the race. Virtual 5K participants receive a t-shirt that will be mailed after race day. Virtual participants should submit their results here.

💵 Refund Policy

All registrations are final and non-transferable.
