🌌 Race Overview

• Format: This is a six-hour NIGHT RACE starting at the Byron Herbert Reese Farm, the same start as CRUEL JEWEL 100.
• Timing: The sun will set during your run, allowing you to see the course by day.
• Course: Approximately 2.34 out and back (1.17 one way) with ~654 feet of vertical gain each lap.
• Experience: Expect climbing and descending throughout the race.

📏 Distance and Elevation

• 2 laps: ~4.68 miles, 1308 ft gain
• 4 laps: ~9.36 miles, 2616 ft gain
• 6 laps: ~14.04 miles, 3924 ft gain
• 12 laps: ~28.08 miles, 7848 ft gain

🍏 Aid Stations

There will be a central aid station with typical ultra food. We will do our best to have options for all dietary preferences. Feel free to bring your own fuel/hydration too!

🎁 SWAG

Anyone who runs THE SPARROW (3 hour or 6 hour) in February AND THE NIGHT OWL will get a special swag item, to be given out at The Night Owl.

📜 Rules

• Lighting: Headlamp, flashlight, waist-light, or other light source other than a phone is required.
• Poles: Allowed, but please be considerate of those behind you.

The race will take place at 8552 Gainesville Hwy, Blairsville, GA.
