Event Overview
Join the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office as we partner with a local 501c3 non-profit, Team Give Back to host the Firecracker 5k and Fun Run on the 4th of July in Dahlonega. The race will start and finish in historic downtown Dahlonega. All proceeds from this event will go toward Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office Youth Programs.

Race Participation
- Shirts: Provided for all PRE-REGISTERED participants registered before FRIDAY JUNE 19, 2026
- Awards: Given to the OVERALL male and female and the top three male/female in each age division
- Divisions: Overall Male, Overall Female, 12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up
Packet Pickup
- Friday July 3rd: 10:00am to 6:00pm at Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office (385 East Main Street, Dahlonega GA 30533)
- Race Day: 6:00am to 7:00am at 13 South Park Street, Dahlonega GA 30533
