Tryptophan Half/10K/5K

Event Overview

• Date: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026
• Location: In front of Rosati's Pizza and Sports Pub, 415 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA
• Tradition: 16th annual Tryptophan Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K
• Participants: Run or walk to burn pre-turkey calories and build an appetite!

Registration Options

• In-Person: Join us on race day
• Virtual: Participants can join virtually, and race packets will be mailed by USPS
• Packet Pickup: In-person race packet pickup available on November 25, 2026
• Pickup Location: Starbucks at 435 Peachtree Parkway, 4-7 PM

Race Details

• Start Times: Half Marathon at 7:30 AM, 10K at 7:45 AM, 5K at 8:00 AM, Fun Run 1K at 9:00 AM
• Costs:
• Half: $45 until 9/1, $55 until 10/10, $60 until 10/27, $65 until 11/17, $70 until 11/25 and Race Day
• 10K: $30 until 9/1, $35 until 10/10, $50 until 10/27, $55 until 11/25 and Race Day
• 5K: $25 until 9/1, $30 until 10/10, $35 until 10/27, $40 until 11/17, $45 until 11/25 and Race Day
• Virtual: $40, Fun Run: $20

Course Information

• 5K Course: Starts and finishes in front of Rosati's Pizza and Sports Pub, mostly flat course.
• 10K Course: Continues south on Peachtree Parkway, U-turn before Sharon Rd.
• Half Marathon: Continues from the 10K U-turn past Brookwood Target back to finish line.
• Finishing Options: All participants will receive a custom race bib, finishers medal, and long-sleeve tee.

Packet Pickup and Registration

• Packet Pickup: Wednesday, November 25, 2026, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Starbucks
• Race Day Registration: Available in the parking lot in front of Rosati's from 6:30 AM
• Packing Location: Please arrive early to avoid delays
• Parking Notice: Utilize parking across the street at The Collection of Forsyth for safety

Awards

• Overall Male/Female: Awards for the top overall finishers
• Masters Male/Female: Awards for top masters finishers
• Age Groups: Awards for top 3 finishers in Male/Female categories, from 10 and Under to 75+
• Celebrating Tradition: Thankful for 16 years of community participation!
