Run for the Coven 4 Miler

🎃 Event Overview

Kick off Spooky Season this October with a witchy 4 mile road race to benefit a great local cause. October is domestic violence awareness month, and we're calling all racers, walkers, and fun runners to join us for the first ever Run for the Coven event to benefit Wellspring in Saratoga. Festivities begin with a ~1k fun run/walk around Middle Grove park for runners and walkers of all ages, followed by a scenic 4 mile road race that will start and finish at the park. T shirts available for registrants while supplies last. Costumes welcome on race day, the witchier the better when we Run for the Coven!

💖 Beneficiary Information

• Proceeds: 100% of Run for the Coven proceeds will benefit Wellspring.
• About Wellspring: For over 40 years Wellspring has been supporting survivors of relationship and sexual abuse in upstate NY.
• Resource Center: Wellspring is the domestic violence and sexual assault services resource for Saratoga County, NY and the sexual assault services resource for Washington County, NY.
• Mission: Supporting survivors and engaging the community to end relationship and sexual abuse.

🏃 Race Distances

Race distances: 4 Mile road race / 1K fun run/walk (kids welcome - costumes encouraged!)

📍 Course Location

Course location: Greenfield, NY (Middle Grove Town Park) - official road route map TBD: race takes off from the park, fun run to take place within the park.

💵 Registration Fees

• 4 Mile Race: $30
• Kids Race: $20

🏆 Awards and Giveaways

• Proceeds Distribution: 100% of proceeds to benefit Wellspring.
• Age Categories: Awards will be given for under 18, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-54, 55 and over.
• Give-away: T-shirts for the first ~100 registrants.
