Run for the Coven 4 Miler

🎃 Event Overview

• Kick Off: October is domestic violence awareness month, and we're calling all racers, walkers, and fun runners to join us for the first ever Run for the Coven event to benefit Wellspring in Saratoga.
• Location: 430 Middle Grove Rd, Middle Grove, NY.
• Activities: Festivities begin with a ~1k fun run/walk for runners and walkers of all ages, followed by a scenic 4 mile road race that will start and finish at the park.
• Costumes: Costumes welcome on race day, the witchier the better when we Run for the Coven!

💖 Beneficiary Information

• Support: 100% of Run for the Coven proceeds will benefit Wellspring.
• History: For over 40 years Wellspring has been supporting survivors of relationship and sexual abuse in upstate NY.
• Resources: Wellspring is the domestic violence and sexual assault services resource for Saratoga County, NY, and the sexual assault services resource for Washington County, NY.
• Mission: Supporting survivors and engaging the community to end relationship and sexual abuse.

📅 Date and Schedule

• Date: Saturday, October 4th, 2025
• Start Time: 9:00am 1k kids fun run/walk
• Followed By: 9:30am 4 Mile Run
• Race Distances: 4 Mile road race / 1K fun run/walk (kids welcome - costumes encouraged!)

🗺️ Course Details

• Location: Greenfield, NY (Middle Grove Town Park).
• Map: Official road route map TBD: race takes off from the park, fun run to take place within the park.

💲 Registration Fees

• Cost: $30 for 4 Mile race.
• Kids Race: $20 for Kids race.
• Proceeds: 100% of proceeds to benefit Wellspring.

🏆 Awards and Giveaways

• Categories: Age group categories for awards: under 18, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-54, 55 and over.
• Giveaway: T-shirts for first ~100 registrants.
