GFD Fit for Duty 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Welcome to our 9th year with this family friendly 5K Run/Walk that starts at the Greenwich Firehouse located at 60 Hill Street. This is a flat, fast course that runs along quiet side streets and loops back to the firehouse. Perfect route to set a new PR or walk with family. Strollers are allowed.

🚒 Firefighter Special

• Discounted Fee: Discounted registration fee to firefighters who run in gear (sneakers are allowed: no airpacks allowed).
• Special Prize: Special prize for the 1st male and the 1st female firefighters who cross the finish line in gear!
• Overall Winners: Prizes also awarded for 1st overall male and female winners.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd age group winners will receive prizes.

💰 Proceeds Information

All proceeds go to the Greenwich Volunteer Fire Department. We hope you and your family can join us and we thank you in advance for your support.

• Race Time: Race begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at the Greenwich Firehouse located at 60 Hill Street, Greenwich.
• Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up beginning at 7:30 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the firehouse located at 60 Hill Street, Greenwich.
• Registration Fee: $40 Registration fee on race day.
• Registration Closure: Race day registration closes at 8:30 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
