The Derek Dexter Memorial 5K
A 5k in honor of our friend Derek Dexter who passed away suddenly in May of 2024. Derek loved running and promoting the sport of running. This 5k honors Derek in the best way we know how. Participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher award.

- Registration Opens: 12/28!
- Special Rate: The first 28 adult registrations are only $28!
- Standard Pricing: $35 through April 11.
- Minors Registration: All minors register for just $25!
- Onsite Registration: $45, CASH ONLY.
Additional Notes
- Park Access: A MetroParks pass or a $10 day pass is required to enter Lake Saint Clair MetroPark.
- Course Features: Stroller and dog friendly race course.
- Scholarships: The event will provide scholarships to local high school athletes pursuing engineering who have a love of running.
