About this race
Event Overview
Building on the beloved tradition of Michigan Humane’s annual Mutt March, we’re embarking on a new chapter that celebrates the powerful bond between people and their pets, and the many ways they inspire us to live with greater joy, compassion, and connection. We invite you to join us for the celebration at Corktown’s Roosevelt Park and the iconic Michigan Central Station. There’s something for everyone!
Race Details
- Date: 2027-05-08
- Location: 2231 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI
- 5K Run: The new 5K run will take you from Roosevelt Park through Southwest Detroit, a jaunt through Ralph C. Wilson Park, returning to Michigan Central Station on the Southwest Detroit Greenway.
- Dog Registration: You can register your dog to run with you!
Additional Activities
- 1K Mutt March: Participate in the fundraising walk.
- Meet & Greet: The Mike Morse Law Firm Meet Your Best Friend event will feature nearly 100 animals up for adoption.
- Field Games and Contests: Enjoy activities for dogs.
