The I Ran the D 5k is an annual 5k celebrating Detroit sports while promoting health and wellness within our community. The event also benefits ChadTough, a local charity that raises money toward curing child brain tumors. Over the past 6 years the I Ran the D 5k has raised over $200,000 for this great charity!

🗺️ Course Information

The I Ran the D 5k course starts at Comerica Park at the Big Tiger and runs through the streets of the Brush Park neighborhood before circumnavigating Ford Field and finishing back at Comerica Park. All participants are then invited to take a victory lap around Comerica Park field!

🎽 Registration Details

• Inclusions: Registration includes a safe, well organized race.
• Shirt: Hooded custom long sleeve running shirt featuring all four Detroit pro sports teams.
• Custom Bib: Participants receive a custom bib and finishers medal.
• Medal: The finishers medal also includes a bottle opener.
