McLeod Health & Fitness Center Kids Splash and Dash

🏊‍♂️ Event Overview

Come join us for the only USAT Splash and Dash in South Carolina. This race will consist of a 150yd swim and a 2k (1.2 mile) run. Ages 5-17 are welcome to sign up and be a part of this awesome event. Multi-Sport is a great way for kids to challenge themselves, put two sports together and push their endurance.

🏁 Race Format

This is a staggered start event with athletes entering the pool every 20 seconds. We will start with the 16-17 age group and work our way down. This will allow the younger participants to watch and learn how the race will proceed. You must then complete 2 laps of the McLeod Health and Fitness Center before you can enter the finishing chute.

📝 Participant Information

• Swimmer Questionnaire: Please ensure to fill out the swimmer questionnaire below to guarantee you are lined up appropriately.
• Guardians: Guardians of younger participants are welcome to run alongside their athlete for the run portion!
• Total Time: Your time will be the entire time it takes to complete the swim and run portions.

• Socks and Running Shoes

📋 Course Information

150yd swim and 2k run
The swim will be in the pool at the McLeod Health & Fitness Center
The run will be at the walking trail that circles the McLeod Health & Fitness Center.

👕 T-Shirt Information

To guarantee a T-shirt, you must be registered by 7/5/2025.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

All Participants will get a custom finish medal!!! Top boy and girl per age group will receive an award.

👶 Age Groups

Age groups: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-15, 16-17. You are in the age group according to what your age is as of 12/31/2025.

💲 Aquathon Fees

• Cost: $25 per athlete
• Registration Deadline: Ends on 7/19
• T-Shirt Guarantee Cut-off: 7/5
• Participant Cap: 100 participants.

Packet pickup time: 7/19 4:00pm-8:00pm and Race morning 7:00-7:30am.
