The WAYS Race to Independence 5K will take place on March 27, 2027, at Space Coast Field of Dreams Park, West Melbourne, FL. This race aims to support WAYS (Wraparound Youth Services) for Life, which provides essential resources for youth aging out of the foster care system.

Race Schedule

• March 26th: Early Packet Pickup and Registration at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd) from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• March 27th: Registration and Packet Pickup at Space Coast Field of Dreams (3053 Fell Rd, West Melbourne, FL 32904)
• Time: 7:00 AM: Registration & Packet Pickup Opens: 7:45 AM: Closes: 8:00 AM: 5K Race Start!
• Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the race.

Awards

• Top Finishers: Top 3 Overall Male & Female.
• Master Awards: Top Masters Male & Female (40+).
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female in each age group: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up.
• Team Spirit: Largest Team award.

Registration Fees

• Adults: $35 through 3/26 (race day $40).
• Children: (12 & under) $25 through 3/26 (race day $30).
• Registration Limit: FREE race t-shirt for the first 150 registrants!
