13th Annual Andrew Monroe Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 13th Annual Andrew Monroe Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk takes place on the #1 Rated Siesta Key Beach in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.

The event provides scholarships for further education to:

• Riverview High School: Senior Soccer players
• JROTC Cadets: Support for leadership development
• Track Athletes: Funding for training and education
• Community Growth: Remaining funds will grow the Sarasota Community Foundation Scholarships in Andrew's name.

Andrew so LOVED soccer that his parents wanted to keep his legacy of education alive. He also had a heart for the unfortunate.

🍽️ Food Donation Initiative

PLEASE BRING A CAN OR TWO OF FOOD FOR MAYORS FEED THE HUNGRY

🎉 Event Details

The event includes:

• Pre-race Coffee: Enjoy Starbucks coffee with a color guard and national anthem opening.
• Door Prizes: Stop by the door prize board to see if you won one of our roughly 160 door prizes.
• Awards: Trophies to Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Sr. Grand Masters, Veteran Grand Master.
• Age Categories: 5 year age groups to 90 and above, with 3 deep receiving a medal.

The goodie bags are filled with pretty awesome goodies as well. ONLY TO THE FIRST 400 registrants

EARLY PACKET PICK UP SATURDAY JANUARY 11th. -- 10am to 2pm - NEW BALANCE SARASOTA, 1872 Stickney Point Rd., Sarasota

🏅 Timing and Prizes

Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group winners.
