Babcock Ranch is excited to announce our first annual Babcock Labor Day 5K Run or Walk. The course is a scenic 3.1 miles around Babcock Ranch.

📅 Event Overview

• Shirt Cutoff Date: The shirt cutoff date is August 15, 2025. Shirts ARE NOT guaranteed after this date. Any extra shirts will be available after the race.
• Early Packet Pickup: Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, August 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Pickup Location: Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Race Day Parking: Free ample parking is available near the starting area.

🕖 Race Day Details

• Packet Pickup: 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
• Registration: 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
• Start Time: 8:00 a.m. sharp.
• Course: Paved roads and sidewalks.

💧 Course Amenities

• Water Stations: Halfway mark and at the finish line.
• Bathrooms: Near the Start Line.
• Spectator-friendly: Yes, the course is great for spectators.
• Post-race snacks: Available after the race.

🏆 Awards

Age group awards are based on off-chip time. There will be overall awards and finisher medals. If you don't stay for your award, you are responsible for coordinating with Babcock Ranch of when you will pick it up.

• 1st Place Overall: Male & Female.
• 1st Place Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters: Male & Female.
• In-person awards: To the top three M/F in various age groups.

• Timed Race: Yes, the 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• Untimed Fun Run: Yes, the untimed fun run will start with the timed 5K.
• Course Surface: The course is paved roads and sidewalks.
• Dogs and Strollers: Dogs are allowed but must be leashed. Strollers are also permitted but must start at the back of the race.
