11th Annual Dad and Daughter 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: 2025-09-27
• Location: AMF Bowling Center, North Kansas City, MO
• Participation: Everyone is welcomed to participate. This event is a fun, friendly family event for all runners and walkers. Strollers, baby joggers, wagons, wheelchairs and well-behaved dogs, are permitted.
• Encouragement: We encourage Dad and Daughter duos, Grandfathers, Stepdads, Uncles, Brothers and entire families. Daughters are encouraged to walk/run in honor or memory of their dads.

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Details: To be announced at a later date.
• Morning Pick-Up: We will also have packet pick up the morning of the race until 8:00 am.

🎉 Race Day Festivities

• Activities: This event will be filled with fun festivities for the children such as craft making, face painting, hula hoop contest, a Zumba warm-up and fun photos that can be downloaded for free.
• Food: Great food will be available, along with a memorable medal for everyone that crosses the finish line.
• Prizes: DICK'S Sporting Goods $50 gift certificates will be awarded to overall top male and female winners. First place winners in male/female age groups will receive $20 gift certificates, and second, third place winners will receive $10 gift certificates!
• Celebration: So, come embrace the day and let's celebrate together the importance of Dads and Families!

👶 Age Divisions

• Categories: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

💖 Charitable Cause

• Beneficiary: This year a portion of the proceeds will benefit Phoenix Family, an amazing organization that provides housing and services to meet the needs of children, families and the elderly!

💲 Registration Fees

• Early Bird Special: The early bird special for older youth from 11 years old to adults will be $25 until June 1st with price increases after that.
• Youth Pricing: Youth 10 and younger will be $24 with no price increases.

📅 Important Notes

• T-Shirt Guarantee: Sign up after 9/22 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. However, we have some left from a couple years ago that you can select from.
