THE ROCKETSHOT 5K (in memory of Jamie McHenry)

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

This Certified Peachtree Road Race 5k course is a 5k to honor the memory of Jamie McHenry, our 13 year old son who was hit and killed by a car on a Spring Break trip in 2013.

💰 Purpose and Proceeds

• Scholarships: All proceeds are used to award youth athletic scholarships.
• Character Awards: Funding for character awards.
• School Improvements: Contributions to school improvements in the North Fulton area.

🎉 Race Features

• 5k Race: Over $500 in Dick's Sporting Goods Bonus Cash for winners.
• Fun Run: A Fun Run for the kids, with medals for all participants.
• Entertainment: Live music on the race route.
• Refreshments: Food and refreshments back at the stadium.
