2025 One in 26 Challenge Walk/Run ROCHESTER

🏃‍♂️ Overview

Did you know that one in 26 people in the United States will develop epilepsy during their lifetime? This fall, you can make a difference by raising awareness and supporting those living with epilepsy.

🚶‍♀️ Walk with us!

• Event Details: The One in 26 Challenge in Rochester, NY (click here for Syracuse events) features an accessible one/run mile walk in Seneca Park, starting and ending at the Longhouse Shelter and winding around Trout Lake.
• Accessibility: The route is paved and we welcome participants of all abilities.

• Note: This event is NOT timed.

🕘 Event Schedule

8:00 am: Check-In & Registration, T-Shirt Pick Up
9:00 am: One Mile Walk/Run (untimed)

🌦️ Weather

We will host this event rain or shine, except in the presence of lightning which will cancel the event.

🧢 What to bring?

This time of year can be tricky! We suggest dressing in layers in anticipation of cold mornings and warmer temperatures during the day. Sunblock and water are also recommended.
