Dennis Hockenberry Memorial 5K - Another Day, Another Gift

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Dennis Hockenberry was a pillar of the Ionia County Community and an ever present runner of the area roads and trails. He held many volunteer leadership positions within area school boards, youth coaching, and church committees. Dennis committed many hours to supporting his friends, family, and community with a passion to serve others and improve the place we call home. Please join us for the inaugural Dennis Hockenberry Memorial 5k to celebrate a life well lived and uphold his trademark saying: "Another Day, Another Gift."

📍 Race Details

• Date: 2025-08-17
• Location: Steele Street Brewing, Ionia, MI
• Course: The run will take place on the Fred Meijer Grand River Valley Trail.
• End Point: The run will end back at the brewery.

🎽 Registration Includes

• Run Packet: Packet pick up and starting at Steele Street Brewing.
• Refreshments: Your registration and efforts will earn you a draft or soda of your choice.
• T-Shirt: An inaugural Dennis Hockenberry Memorial 5k T-shirt will be included in the registration fee.
• Proceeds: All proceeds will be donated to area Cross Country and Track teams to assist with athlete needs and expenses.
