📅 Race Day Details

• Start Time: Registration begins at 6:00 AM.
• Location: Front of Abney Athletic Center on the campus of Anderson University.
• Parking: Signs will direct you for parking and registration.

🎉 About the Event

• Organizers: Brought to you by Friends of Boys State (FOBS), Anderson University, and local sponsors.
• Purpose: To support scholarships for Palmetto Boys State, the premier leadership program in the nation.
• Route: The run will take place on the roads of Anderson University and the surrounding neighborhoods.

🌟 Legacy of Dave Hortman

• Inspiration: Our event began in June 2012 following the passing of our friend and fellow Boys State staff member, Dave Hortman.
• Service: Dave served our Country and was one of the Army's most distinguished elite helicopter pilots.
• Message: He challenged others to live life to the fullest, be physically fit, and support the leadership program he loved.

🏆 Event Prizes

• Categories: Prizes will be awarded for both Male and Female participants in many age groups.
• Team Award: A Team Award will be given for the Largest Group affiliation.
• T-Shirt: A performance T-Shirt will be included with your run registration.
