🏃‍♂️ Race Day Details

• Registration Start Time: Race Day Registration begins at 6:00AM on Saturday, June 7th in front of Abney Athletic Center on the campus of Anderson University.
• Directions: Signs will direct you for parking and registration.

🎉 Event Purpose

• Organizers: This event is being brought to you by Friends of Boys State (FOBS), Anderson University, and local sponsors.
• Support: The effort aims to support scholarships for Palmetto Boys State, the premier leadership program in the nation.

🏞️ Run Details

• Location: The run will take place on the roads of Anderson University and the surrounding neighborhoods.
• Date: Saturday morning, June 7th, 2025.

🌟 In Memory of Dave Hortman

• Background: Our event began in June 2012 following the passing of our friend and fellow Boys State staff member, Dave Hortman.
• Legacy: Dave served our Country in many ways and was one of the Army's most distinguished elite helicopter pilots.
• Inspiration: A decorated U.S. Army Captain, Dave inspired others to live life to the fullest and to support the leadership program that he loved and served.

• Support: You are invited to join in the effort to support Palmetto Boys State!
• Prizes: Event prizes will be awarded along with Top 3 for both Male and Female finishers.
• Freebie: A performance T-Shirt will be included with your run registration.
