🦃 Thanksgiving Day Tradition

If you think the only race that happens on Thanksgiving Day is seeing who gets a second helping of pumpkin pie first, guess again! Before lifting a fork, watching football, and taking a post-turkey snooze, hundreds Andersonians start their holiday by giving thanks - with the famous Electric City Gobbler 5K and 1 MILE FUN RUN!

🏃 Event Overview

• Who Can Join: We welcome the tail feathers of Elite runners, weekend warriors, mama's with strollers, and kids alike along our fast 3.1 mile run course - walkers are welcome!
• New Tradition: Participate in our NEW tradition, the 1 Mile FUN RUN!
• Proceeds: Funds go to scholarship kids in the community through our Operation Active Kids Program, OAK.
• Fun! If you have a flair for costumed fun and enjoy prizes, then get signed up you turkeys!

📅 Date and Time

• Date: Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025
• 1 Mile Fun Run Start Time: 8:00 AM
• 5K Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Location: Anderson Mall Main Entrance, Clemson Blvd, Anderson, SC

🎟️ Packet Pick Up

• When: Wednesday, November 26th: Day before race at Mall Noon until 6PM.

• 5K Course: Certified course on city streets surrounding the Anderson Mall - FAST and SAFE! (SC04033BS)
• Course Map Here
• 1 Mile FUN Run: Course is enclosed around the Mall
• Finish Line: Medals and Hydration will be available at the Finish Line

• Top Winners: Certificates and prizes for Top 3 Male and Female Overall Winners and Top 3 Male and Female Overall Masters Winners.
