If you think the only race that happens on Thanksgiving Day is seeing who gets a second helping of pumpkin pie first, guess again! Before lifting a fork, watching football, and taking a post-turkey snooze, hundreds Andersonians start their holiday by giving thanks - with the famous Electric City Gobbler 5K and 1 MILE FUN RUN!

Welcome to All Runners!

• Participants: Elite runners, weekend warriors, mommas with strollers, and kids alike.
• Course: Fast 3.1 mile run course - walkers are welcome!
• New Tradition: Join us for the 1 Mile FUN RUN!
• Good Cause: Proceeds support scholarship kids in the community through our Operation Active Kids Program (OAK).

• Date: Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026
• Location: 1313 Main Street, Anderson, SC
• Time: 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:00 AM
• Time: 5K at 8:30 AM

Packet Pick Up

• Date: Wednesday, November 25th
• Time: Noon until 6PM
• Location: Day before the race at Anderson Mall

Course Information

• 5K Course: Certified course on city streets surrounding the Anderson Mall - FAST and SAFE! (SC04033BS)
• COURSE MAP HERE
• 1 Mile FUN Run: Course is enclosed around the Mall
• Finish Line: Medals and hydration will be provided at the finish line
