25th Annual River City Rat Race

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Described by Runner’s World writer Hal Higdon as “One of the most scenic 10K’s I’ve ever run”, the River City Rat Race is a 10K Race and 5K Race through the autumn parks and riverfront of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The race is fun and family-friendly, and benefits the local YMCA.

👕 Shirt Information

• Long Sleeved Shirts: Shirts for 2025 will be long sleeved. Color TBD.
• Availability: Shirts will be first come, first served. Sizes are not guaranteed.

📝 Registration Details

YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE RACE YOU WANT TO RUN. The map is different this year so please only register for the race you want to finish.

📅 Packet Pick-up

• Pre-race Pick-up: Saturday Oct. 18th, from 4-6:00pm at the Central Branch YMCA, 1020 S. Barr Street.
• Race Day Pick-up: At Freimann Square from 11:00-1:00pm at 201 E. Main St.

💵 Pricing

• Pre-race Day Registration: Available on Oct. 18th from 4-6:00pm for $50 at the downtown YMCA: 1020 S. Barr St.
• Race Day Registration: $60

Race start is 200 E. Main St. - Finish line is at the Old Fort!

• Masters Awards: Top 3 overall Masters male and female for each race
