Lace up for Rockland's libraries! Join us for the inaugural LARC in the Park 5K Run/Walk at Rockland Lake State Park on Sunday, October 19. Proceeds benefit the Library Association of Rockland County (LARC) Scholarship Fund and professional development for members. LARC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting and promoting Rockland’s public libraries.

💵 Pricing

• Online 5K entry (ages 17 and older): $32.80 (before 9/30/2025, thereafter $43.40)
• Online 5K entry (ages 16 and younger): $22.20
• Kids' Dewey Decimal Dash (up to age 10): FREE
• First 100 5K participants: will receive an insulated cooler bag
• Included: Prices include race entry and processing fees
• Registration: is via online entry only. Registration closes at 9:45am 10/19/2025

🗓️ Schedule

• Race day registration: opens at 9:00am
• Kids' Dewey Decimal Dash: begins at 9:30am
• 5K Run/Walk: begins at 10:00am

🏞️ Entering Rockland Lake State Park

• Use: the North Entrance
• Proceed: to parking lot #1

🏆 Awards Ceremony

Our awards ceremony will take place shortly following the 5K.

• Top 3 Male and Female: age group winners in categories:
• Categories: Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Strollers are welcome. Please have your furry friends sit this one out.
