🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Arkansas Traveller is steeped in tradition as one of the oldest 100 mile races in the country, maintaining its founding philosophy of providing a true ultrarunning experience melded with Southern hospitality. Our course consists of a 17-mile loop followed by an 83-mile out-and-back through the Ouachita Mountains on forest roads, jeep trails, and an eight mile section of the Ouachita Trail. 12,000 cumulative feet of climb. We will have 23 fully stocked and staffed aid stations with the friendliest volunteers and course veterans to help you reach the finish line. The Traveller is a Western States qualifier.

• Race Shirt: Register by Sept 1st to guarantee your size/style.
• Aid Stations: Very well stocked and fully staffed aid stations approximately every 5 miles.
• Finishers Buckle: Earn a finishers buckle based on your performance.
• Post Race Breakfast: Enjoy a meal prepared and served by the William’s Junction Volunteer Fire Department.

🏅 Awards

• Top Finishers: Sterling Silver (overall M/F), Colored Enamel (under 24 hours), Bronze (over 24).
• Plaques: Wooden engraved plaques for Overall M/F, Runner-Up 2nd place M/F, Master M/F.
• Age Group Awards: For those who stay for the post race ceremony.
• Medical Support: Onsite EMT and a Medical Director will be present throughout the race.
