Event Overview

This annual race is in memory of our dear friend Dave McDonald. Dave loved to run, he loved the Heron, and he loved music.

Cause for Celebration

• Purpose: All proceeds will benefit Centaur Stride in Sherman, NY.
• Contributions: Please consider donating.
• Participants: All ages are welcome, including new and experienced runners and walkers.
• Course: Challenging and fun well-marked route.

Race Details

• Main Event: Our 5K trail race is open to all ages and abilities.
• Registration Cost: FREE to register and participate!
• Course: Run or walk our scenic trail course.
• Activities: Live music from 11am-3pm, breakfast & lunch available for purchase, kids-games, and family-friendly fun.

Music and Entertainment

Live performances: TBD!

• Event Hours: Music from 11AM-3PM.
• T-Shirts: Event t-shirts available for purchase while supplies last.
• Registration Closure: Online registration open through Friday, August 14 at 6:59 PM.

Weekend Festivities

Saturday, August 15 – Music & Camping Kickoff!

• Music: 6PM–Midnight!
• Live Performances: TBD!
• Additional Offerings: Dinner available for purchase, overnight camping under the stars.
• Ticket Requirement: Tickets are required for Saturday music and camping, grab yours here.
