Event Overview
The KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS Jesus, Mary and Joseph Council #4071 is proud to announce our 2026 INDEPENDENCE DAY LIBERTY 10K Run, 5K Run & 5K Walk. This marks the 40th Anniversary of this event that also coincides with the 250th Anniversary of the founding of our country! Please join us in celebrating these special milestones!
Date and Location
- Date: July 4th
- Registration: Begins at 6:45 AM
- 10K Race Start: 8 AM
- 5K Race & Walk Start: 8:10 AM
Our Lady of Mercy Church, 837 Bartlett Road, Harborcreek, PA
Course Information
- Course Start and End: The course starts and ends at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Bartlett Road.
- Course Layout: It is relatively flat and is bounded by East Lake Road, Boyer Road, Iroquois Avenue, and Bartlett Road.
- Water Stops: There are three water stops on the course, and splits will be called at each mile.
- Signage: Crossings and turns will be marked and manned.
Registration and Shirts
- Shirts: The First 100 Runners/Walkers to sign up will receive a Race "T" shirt!
Awards
- Finishers: A race medallion will be awarded to all finishers.
- Trophies: Trophies will be presented to 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers in each race.
Post-race and Timing
- Refreshments: Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be served at the end of the race.
- Timing: The Big White Trailer will do timing.
- Awards Presentation: An awards presentation will take place in the church parking lot after the last finisher is in - approximately 9:30 a.m.
