Wanderers' Trail Race

WANDERERS' 5K TRAIL RACE AND KIDS TRAIL MILE

DATE TIME PLACE:

• Date: Sunday afternoon, January 25, 2026
• Time: 2:00pm
• Kids Race: 1:30pm
• Location: McArthur Pavilion at Maryville College in Maryville, TN

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

• Course: This 5k course meanders through the woods, crossing hills, dales, rocks, roots, streams, and grassy knolls.
• Kids Trail Mile: Precedes the main race at 1:30, running a similar fun course in the woods.
• Timing: Race will be chip timed.

REGISTRATION AND FEES:

• Fee: $25.00 for online preregistration. KTC discount codes accepted.
• Students: $15.00 for students 14 and younger.
• Note: Late registration $30.00, no KTC discount available day of race.
• Kids Run: Fee $7.00 any time.

SPECIAL SERIES REGISTRATION OFFERS:

• Discount: Sign up online for 7 for $109 Season Pass or Kids 7 for $29 Kids Pass bundle deals and SAVE BIG!
• Expiration: Trail Series Season Passes Expires June 1.

T-SHIRTS:

• Edition: Special limited edition T-shirts will be printed for the series.
• One per Runner: One shirt per runner PER SEASON please.
• Donation: Taking multiple shirts reduces monies we are able to donate to trail-friendly causes.

• Availability: Results will be available on the Knoxville Track Club website.

COURSE ETIQUETTE:

• Disqualification: We reserve the right to disqualify anyone who exhibits unsportsmanlike conduct or is abusive to volunteers.
• Aid: Aid will be provided, but we urge all runners to carry their own water.
• Training: We recommend everyone do some pre-race training off-road.

SAFETY POLICY CLARIFICATION:

• Age Requirement: Under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult to run the adult race.
• Pace Policy: Enforcement of an 18:00/mile minimum pace will be strictly adhered to moving forward.
• Sweeper: Each race will have a sweeper: runners need to maintain a pace to stay in the race.

IMPORTANT BIB POLICY:

• Safety Concern: Don't take a bib if you're not running to ensure everyone's safety.
• Accountability: If you drop out, please inform a race official.
