WANDERERS' 5K TRAIL RACE and KIDS TRAIL MILE

TIME & PLACE

• 5K Start Time: 2:00pm
• Kids Race Start Time: 1:30pm
• Location: McArthur Pavilion at Maryville College in Maryville TN

COURSE DESCRIPTION

• Terrain: This 5k course meanders through the woods, crossing hills, dales, rocks, roots, streams, and grassy knolls.
• Kids Trail Mile: Precedes main race at 1:30pm, running a similar fun course in the woods.
• Timing: Race will be chip timed.

• No Refunds: No bib transfers allowed.
• KTC Member Discount: Accepted.

T-SHIRTS

• Limited Edition: Special T-shirts will be printed for the series.
• One Shirt: One shirt per runner PER SEASON.
• Support Causes: Taking multiple shirts reduces funds for trail-friendly causes.

TTT SERIES AWARDS

• Top 3 Awards: Free race entries at the end of the trail race season.
• Announcement: Winners announced at the KTC Holiday Party in December.
• Eligibility: Must be a KTC member and volunteer twice during the season.

RESULTS

• Availability: Results will be posted on the Knoxville Track Club website.
• Website: Find results at www.ktc.org or on Runsignup.com.

COURSE ETIQUETTE

• Disqualification: Unsportsmanlike conduct or abuse to volunteers may lead to disqualification.

AID STATIONS

• Greener Efforts: Aid will be provided, but carry your own water.
• Insect Protection: Bring your own medication if sensitive to insect stings or bites.
• Training: Pre-race training offroad is recommended for a good experience.

SAFETY POLICY CLARIFICATION

• Underage Runners: Must be accompanied by an adult to run the adult race.
• Pace Requirement: Enforcing an 18:00/mile minimum pace moving forward.
• Race Sweeper: Each race will have a sweeper for pace enforcement.

BIB POLICY

• Safety Concern: Do not take a bib if you are not running.
• Not Running: If you drop out, please notify race officials.
• Bib Condition: Do not fold or tear your bib.
