🎯 Our Mission

• Purpose: The Mathew Forbes Romer Foundation’s Mission is to promote and lead critical awareness, testing, counseling, and research initiatives that hold promise for the prevention and eventual cure of fatal children’s genetic diseases of the brain.
• Funding: MFRF has raised approximately $3 million for projects spanning its mission across three pillars.
• Impact: MFRF has celebrated progress in gene therapy, education, and genetic testing for many affected children.
• Goal: To further enhance early detection and expand treatment availability.

• Support Without Attendance: For those who want to support but cannot attend the event.
• Receive Merchandise: Your shirt and finisher medal will be mailed to you.
• Honor System: Complete the 5K at some point: no need to submit your time.
• Awards Eligibility: This option is not eligible for awards.

• Categorizations: Awards for M/F Overall, M/F under 10, 10-14, 15-19, and various age groups up to 80+

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Location: Now available at Runners Edge until Saturday Jan 10th at Noon.
• Address: Runner's Edge: 3195 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton - 561-361-1950
• Store Hours: Monday - Friday 10-6, Thursday 10-7, Saturday 10-5, Sunday 11-4.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Available race morning at the event from 6:30-7:10 am.
