Etowah River Park Summer Classic - 5k/10k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for an exciting 5K/10K race, featuring a special 10K club/team competition! This family-friendly event welcomes everyone: walkers, runners, back-of-the-pack participants, and speedsters alike, hosted by Cherokee Run Club.

🏆 10K Run Club/Group Competition

• Prove it: Think your crew is the fastest?
• Registration: Run Clubs, Teams, Groups must register under Club/Team name. Find your team name or create a new one when you register for the 10k - Choose the join/create a team.
• Eligibility: To be eligible for scoring, each team must have a minimum of 10 members.
• Scoring: The top 5 finishers from each team will be scored to determine the fastest group.

⏱️ Timing Information

This event uses RFID timing provided by Performance Race Services. To ensure your time is recorded accurately, please make sure your race bib meets the following guidelines:

• Visible: Worn clearly on the front of your torso.
• Condition: Not folded, wrinkled, or altered in any way.
• Secured: Secured with pins at all four corners.
• Coverage: Fully visible and not covered by jackets, belts, or other gear. Live results will be available within minutes after you finish.

• Early Bird: (4/20/2025 - 4/30/25): $25
• 5/01/25 - 5/19/25: $26
• 5/20/25 - 8/8/25: $30
• Deadline: (7/11/25 Deadline for guaranteed shirts & award medals)
• 8/9/25 - Race Day: $35

Race Day Registration: $35 No guaranteed shirt: extra shirts may be available after the race for pickup.

10K Registration

Individual Awards

• Top Finishers: Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers
• Masters: (40+) First Male & Female Finishers.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in the following age groups:
• Categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69.
