Etowah River Park Summer Classic - 5k/10k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for an exciting 5K/10K race, featuring a special 10K club/team competition! This family friendly event welcomes everyone: walkers, runners, back-of-the-pack participants, and speedsters alike, hosted by Cherokee Run Club

🏆 10K Run Club/Group Competition

• Fastest Crew: Think your crew is the fastest? Prove it!
• Team Registration: Run Clubs, Teams, Groups must register under Club/Team name.
• Team Size: To be eligible for scoring, each team must have a minimum of 10 members.
• Scoring: The top 5 finishers from each team will be scored to determine the fastest group.

⏱️ Timing Information

This event uses RFID timing provided by Performance Race Services. To ensure your time is recorded accurately, please make sure your race bib meets the following guidelines:

• Visibility: Worn clearly on the front of your torso.
• Condition: Not folded, wrinkled, or altered in any way.
• Secured: Secured with pins at all four corners.
• Live Results: Live results will be available within minutes after you finish.

• Early Pick-Up: Thursday, August 7. 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Fleet Feet Canton.
• Race Day Pickup: 6:00 AM - Race day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens.
• Closing Time: 7:15 AM - Race day Registration & Packet Pickup Closes.
• Warm-Up: 7:30 AM - 10K/5K Warm-Up.
• Start Times: 7:45 AM - 10K Start: 8:15 AM - 5K Start.

💰 Registration Pricing

5K Registration

• Early Bird: $25 (4/20/2025 - 4/30/25).
• Regular Pricing: $26 (5/01/25 - 5/19/25).
• Late Registration: $30 (5/20/25 - 7/13/25), $32 (after 7/19/25).
• Race Day: $37 - No guaranteed shirt.

10K Registration

• Early Bird: $28 (4/20/2025 - 4/30/25).
• Regular Pricing: $30 (5/01/25 - 5/19/25).
• Late Registration: $36 (5/20/25 - 7/16/25), $40 (Race Day).

🏅 Awards – 5K & 10K

Individual Awards

• Overall Finishers: Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers.
• Masters: (40+) First Male & Female Finishers.
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69.

🏆 Team/Group Competition Awards

• Top Teams: The top 3 teams will receive additional race swag.
• Registration Deadline: To guarantee additional team swag all members must be registered by July 13.

• T-Shirt: Every runner will receive a race t-shirt, must register by July 13th to guarantee.
