🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Divine Child is excited to welcome Falcons and our larger community to join us for the 32nd Annual Mark Carpenter (Class of '68) Falcon 5K Family Fun Run! This annual public running event is held on Divine Child's campus and includes a Tot-Trot for children ages 6 and under, a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a 5K for all ages. Following the duration of all events, the top 5K winners and 1 mile winners will be announced on the track. Complimentary hot dogs, sponsored by Dearborn Sausage Brand, and chips will be available at 9:15. Family activities on the field and concourse. All participates and their families are invited to stay.

📅 Race Information

• Registration: Register in advance at runsignup.com by Sunday, July 20 ($30 early bird price-includes a T-shirt): registration after July 20 is $35 and DOES NOT include a t-shirt.
• Onsite registration: Available on race day under the tent on the football field starting at 7:00 AM for $35.
• Bottled water: Provided at start/finish line and water station on course.
• Awards: Race awards will be distributed and announced during the social hour following the 5K.

• 9:10 AM: Welcome and Prayer

• What is the Mark Carpenter Falcon 5K? The Divine Child Falcon 5K is an annual public running event held on the Divine Child campus in memory of Mark Carpenter ‘68. The event includes a tot trot for children 6 and under as well as a 1-mile fun run and a 5K for all ages. Proceeds from the event benefit the Divine Child Alumni Association and Divine Child High School Girls Cross Country team.
• Where can I pick up my packet? Your packet (your t-shirt and bib) can be picked up at the Divine Child High School on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the morning starting at 7:00 AM.
• Can I register the day of the run? Yes. Registration will open at 7 AM on the day of the race (desired t-shirt size, or shirt NOT guaranteed).
• Is there parking available? Yes.

💧 Additional Information

• Will water be available? Yes, a water station will be available along the route and there will be water available at the end.
• Can I run with a stroller? Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks are also permitted. Please leave all personal items and valuables in your vehicle.
• Can I still donate and not run? Yes. Donations will be accepted for 3 weeks after the event.
• How can I volunteer? It's simple! Email amcnamara@divinechild.org and we will reply within 24 hours. Volunteers are always needed for the day of festivities. Thank you!
